Man gets 15 years for burning gay flag

You are no longer simply burning a couple of sticks in the shape of a cross. But if you go to somebody’s house and burn a cross in front of their house as an active intimidation, you are breaking a different set of laws. There are also harassment laws I would think that would prevent somebody from lighting something on fire as an act of intimidation or harassment.įor example, I am sure you can burn a Cross at your own house every day of the week and be entirely free of consequence. But you have to burn that flag in a space where are you are allowed to light things on fire. Generally speaking, I believe you should be able to burn any flag you want completely free of consequence. There seems to be a lot and missing from the OP.
